This morning, I asked to meet with one of the Management team. I spoke about my additional entitlement this year for 1 week extra paternity leave that given by Government. Manna in the Dessert

About bank account?
So hard to save, but what’s the real issue?
Security in money? Instead of God?
God says He will take care. He will provide.
Habakuk that says, even when there’s nothing, I will rejoice.
It takes faith to believe in God, that He will do it

For the rich and for the poor, the issue is the same…more subtle for the rich and more real for the poor
What we long? Give us today our tomorrow bread?
For what we need today, as well as rest from our labor that tomorrow it will be given today
Still takes faith to face that what we have today is enough for tomorrow, for the sake of the rest in God

3 Years and What is it for me?

In 2 days times, we will celebrate our girls’ 3rd birthday. This year we will celebrate it bigger and hopefully better (by inviting her friends, and some our friends). My wife has been working very hard to ensure that everything is catered for. May the Lord bless her.

The last few days, my big girl has been behaving very badly. She challenged authority and purposefully did all the opposites that we asked of her. Our patience was running thin and both of us felt the strains. Last nite, she woke up in the middle of the nite, run outside the room and insisted that it was morning and hence she wanted to play.

Sorry God

Our girl taught us song tonight. She sang beautifully. One the lyric said,”sorry God”. I just reminded that today I have not done rightly. The way i write email was not with right motive, and was really not God’s way. Sorry God for doing those things.

Tonight was also those one special night, for our two girls sleep together again (after so long). Our elder girl would be very happy tomorrow. Help her to sleep well through the night O Lord.

One Resolution

In the house of the righteous there is much treasure, but trouble befalls the income of the wicked. ~Proverbs 15:6 (ESV)

In my own words (after did a few search and for possible meanings), it could be read this way:

In the house = In the family / The household itself
Income = treasure / wealth / riches

Hence: the family / in the household of the righteous is wealth, but the wealth of the wicked brings trouble 

What a contrast between the righteous and the wicked.

The wicked may have a lot of wealth / treasures, but those things eventually bring nothing but troubles / ruins. On the contrary, the righteous may not have a lot of wealth / treasures, yet their family / household itself such a great treasure. (In the house, could refer to the family members within the house)

What an encouragement to note this bible verse. Which tells us that how God sees and blesses the righteous. Certainly his thoughts and ways are beyond our thoughts and ways.
