My mother-in-law was diagnosed with CLL/SLL with p17 deletion + Ritcher transformation on Saturday, 15th August 2020. We knew the possibility of it coming to this point today, and we were helpless to do anything. Two years ago, the doctor diagnosed her with this rare CLL type and its possibility to transform to the more aggressive type. And today medically it’s the worst scenario to have both type of cancer on the body. The worst case scenario because the aggressive type is threatening her life and we got to do treat it immediately. While the non-aggressive is incurable and needs an expensive medication to control it lifelong, else it would become life threatening as well.
With everything seems dark and hopeless, I thought to write down this journey. As surely as the Lord lives, everyday we would see His goodness and mercies. This to remember & testify to the goodness of God & Lord Jesus. In the midst of suffering, His mercies always new every morning. So long this journey continue, I hope to update this as frequently as I could. And to honor and remember the kindness & love of fellow friends who brighten our days and lighten the load.
Hopefully one day when we look back, we can say Ebenezer,”thus far the Lord has helped us.” Praise be to God!
