There is Hope still

So this morning, as I was reading on God’s encounter with Solomon and the Proverbs that recorded for us, I simply ask God for wisdom to manage my household.

And God reminded me of the reason for hope which very dear to me:

Yet this I call to mind
    and therefore I have hope:
 Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed,
    for his compassions never fail.
 They are new every morning;
    great is your faithfulness.

And God reminded me the story of Rahab in book of Joshua. A prostitute whose life was transformed became the great ancestor of JEsus the Messiah.

So what is life about? It’s about the never ending God’s mercy & faithfulness. And therefore we can always have hope, even in the midst of hopelessness.
