The 2.5

My wife call it a rare occurrence, when our eldest girl hit 2.5 and our youngest girl hit 2.5. Only difference is that one in year and the other is in month.

In a few rare occurrences, both of them could nap together. Those are the times my wife would shout “Halelujah”. 2 days ago, both of them could sleep early during dinner time, till the next day breakfast time. That’s a double “Halelujah”.

But it didn’t come without a price. Two days ago, i didn’t receive any news from home. And i sensed something must be wrong. When i reached home, i found out the big girl is crying, and my wife was only able to say ,”i’m burnt out”. With that, i put the youngest one to sleep, the oldest one climb to her. In the next 30 minutes, the 3 of them fell a sleep. There i was alone, waiting for dinner, and the three other members were in their sleep.

Just want to thank God for balancing the bad and the good, the tiredness with the rest we need. It was the day i could sleep about 7 hours.
