Had it not been the Lord who was on our side (Ps 124:1a)
Our first devotion in 2015, and the verse was given. The verse that kept ringing in my head and I couldn’t find it. When we open the Psalm 124 (as yesterday we read Psalm 123), suddenly the words are there.
Indeed, it’s only because the Lord’s help, we are who we are today. If the Lord were not on our side, we would surely die long ago. Indeed, no better words to describe. Thanks be to God.
He is our helper and defender. He upholds our life. And we enter 2015, trusting in God unchanging character.
