Lately my eyes have been playing tricks on me. Sometimes i feel that i’m moving down, or moving forward….while actually is the lift that moving up, or the bus that moving forward. It is not something new. It’s being used in 3D \/ 4D cinematography, to make people feel as if they’re moving, while actually they’re still sitting down.<\/p>\n
What’s happening? It’s because the focus points of our eyes. Either the object we’re focusing is moving…or we’re focusing on somethings that cause the eyes send certain signal to the brain that being interpreted as if we’re moving.<\/p>\n

So it came down upon me….our eyes are deceitful. What we see may not the reality. Or to put it more accurately, it may not be the truth. How do we know the truth then?<\/p>\n
We need right eyes and see right.<\/p>\n
Now i’m correcting myself. Recently i apply this question to my wife, whether we see a glass half full or half empty. Sometimes we choose to see the negative things in life (that’s half empty glass). But we can choose to see the positive things (that’s half full glass). But now, what if there’s no glass in the first place? What if that’s just an illusion?<\/p>\n
I find out that the old truth is relevant. Spending time in God’s Word daily makes a difference for me. When i spent enough time, soaking myself in God’s Word, i could see things clearer. The challenges of life doesn’t seem to bother me a lot. But when my focus shifted and not right, I got down very easily over the daily things of life. Only later when i came back to my sense I asked the question,”how come i didn’t see it?”<\/p>\n
Like this morning, as I was meditating on Proverbs 3, to acknowledge God in all we do. When i do that, my emails were of super good quality….otherwise, no matter how hard i cracked my brain, i couldn’t produce the similar result. And acknowledging God has to do with humility and fear of Him at the same time. That by itself produces the best in the person. But often we think it’s too silly to acknowledge God over the daily things in life. We becomes proud, and that’s the beginning of our fall.<\/p>\n
Thank you Lord for the wisdom.
