On weekend, I watched a dear friend given honorary title of “Emeritus”. The whole service was done very well. It was a beautiful picture, how one completed his assignment, fulfilled his promise, and passed on the baton to the next person. His humility and graciousness colored the whole event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
Reflecting on his journey of answering God’s call, I can’t help but thank God for his obedience. He was fully convicted of God’s call to become a pastor. His parents objected him. Feeling the responsibilities as the only son, he listened to his parents. But his conviction grew larger each day. And finally, with the support of his wife, he went to Bible college as a family, with two sons. What a journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If not because he obeyed God’s call, I would not met him in Singapore. And my life journey would probably look different too. I believe it’s God’s divine appointment. I need an iron, and I remembered he lived nearby. I walked to his college, borrowed iron, and that’s beginning of an exciting journey. Thank you God for Your beautiful plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
