We got surprises one after another. Today, we received the cage for our guinea pigs, and so we could leave them in our backyard. I thought we agree that it&#8217;s okay to leave them (it&#8217;s quite safe).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then my wife came and told me she wanted to bring the guinea pigs inside the house, because she&#8217;s afraid the wind too strong for them. I told her tonight weather is okay, it won&#8217;t be too cold. But she told me that she won&#8217;t be able to sleep peacefully if they&#8217;re outside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So she changed her clothes, went to the backyard, and brought the guinea pigs inside. And she told me, that&#8217;s how parents would feel when their children weren&#8217;t home at night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One one hand, I thank God that I know my wife better tonight. She had that very loving heart, and I could trust her to take care our children really well (sometimes I told her that she pamper them too much).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the other hand, I am amazed at God&#8217;s divine love for us. If for guinea pigs that she didn&#8217;t give birth to, but given to us, and they&#8217;re just small animals with on average 5 years old life span, and there&#8217;re no real harm really by leaving them outside and for that my wife couldn&#8217;t take it. How much more the love of God for us must be. He who made us in His image, woven us in our mothers&#8217; womb, and had sent His Son to die for us, how much is that love?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This verse seems to me the height of His love: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.<\/p><cite>Romans 5:11 (NIV)<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sometimes God uses animal to teach us something.
