As I read Luke’s account on Luke 2:1-7 of the birth of Jesus, I am comforted and strengthened to know that from the macro scheme of the whole world, to the minute details of our personal life, God is involved and watching.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
And it came to pass<\/strong> in those days\u00a0that<\/em>\u00a0a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world<\/strong> should be registered. ~Luk 2:1 (NKJV)
This was the first\u00a0registration when Quirinius\u00a0was governor of Syria.~ Luk2:2 (ESV)<\/pre>\n\n\n\nFrom the highest order of this world, that everyone should follow……..To the minute details of the local authority ruling at a point in history<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And Joseph<\/strong> also went up\u00a0from Galilee<\/em>, from the town of\u00a0Nazareth, to Judea<\/em>, to\u00a0the city of David, which is called\u00a0Bethlehem,\u00a0because he<\/em> was of the house and lineage of David<\/em>, <\/sup>to be registered with Mary<\/strong>, his betrothed, who was with child<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/pre>\n\n\n\nFrom our personal identity as a person, down to our history who we are, and our relationships which changing, and all the circumtances that we find ourselves in…To that very extent, where we’re just who we are, where we are, with whom we are, doing what need to be done…..<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And\u00a0while they were there, the time came<\/strong> for her to give birth.\u00a0And she gave birth to her firstborn son and\u00a0wrapped him in swaddling cloths and\u00a0laid him in a manger, because there was no place<\/em> for them in\u00a0the inn<\/pre>\n\n\n\nEven to the time & situations which we find ourselves in, completely outside our control and power. To the very situation, the grace of God was present and going to be revealed. The mystery of His wisdom and plan that we can’t see at present. When it’s revealed, such wisdom warmth our hearts always.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So manna for the day<\/em>, means we got to do what we need to do, in the midst of our situations and cirumtances, trusting that God’s providential grace is sufficient for today. Often we thought we have no choice, and things done on us. But from God’s perspective and plan, we’re always in His hands and what we thought it’s done on us, actually God is weaving His master plan for His praise & glory.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
