I have much to give thanks and rejoice. Yesterday I did a survey, and I could say that I’m thriving in this season. This morning I read an article that it’s OK to feel OK when everybody else say it is not OK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So when I hear a webinar this morning about the struggle that people face emotionally. And also one good friend describe the struggle he has with this COVID19, my heart goes to them. And I thought let me remind myself on this old small voice that always true.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
“…but\u00a0the righteous shall live by his faith.” <\/p>Habakuk 2:4b<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\nWhat does it mean? I think first of fall, to live righteously before God is a struggle at any seasons of life, because this world is anti-God. We are bombarded with so many words and voices that tell us to stray from following God wholeheartedly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And the challenge or antidote to that is to live by faith. To put into action what God has said. To take God & His Word at face value. And that has vast implications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Going fast forward in time, the same words appear again in New Testament, when Paul the Apostle wrote:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For\u00a0I am not ashamed of the gospel<\/strong>, for it is\u00a0the power of God<\/strong> for salvation<\/strong> to everyone who believes, to the Jew\u00a0first and also to\u00a0the Greek.\u00a0For in it\u00a0the righteousness of God is revealed\u00a0from faith for faith,\u00a0as it is written, \u201cThe righteous shall live by faith.\u201d<\/p>Romans 1:16-17<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\nHence, in these last days, when we heard all kinds of bad news, we have to tell ourselves how to live. We have to remind ourselves that this world is passing away. Our loved ones and our own lives is passing away. The only thing that will last is God & His kingdom. And the gospel is God’s power to save every person who believe. To take part in that eternal life, we must choose to live by faith everyday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
O my soul, remember the Lord and His Power to save. Don’t be ashamed of the gospel. He is mighty to save. Open your mouth O Me. Save those who’re poor and needy (Proverbs 31:8-9).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
