Without faith it’s impossible to please God<\/em>.” In a way it records how these people please God with their faith.<\/p>\n\n\n\nAnd today I read this: <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
Then the\u00a0Lord\u00a0said to Satan, \u201cHave you considered my servant Job?\u00a0There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God\u00a0and shuns evil.\u201d ~Job 1:8 (NIV)<\/pre>\n\n\n\nIt doesn’t say explicitly. But I guess God was saying those words with such great delight. It seems to me that God is boasting about Job in front of Satan. God takes pleasure in Job, and his righteous conduct.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And I believe that God who watches the Universe is taking delight in His children’s life and actions. He is pleased when His sons and daughters, great or small, man or woman fears Him and shuns evil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It matters how we live our lives, the choices we made, the things we shun because they’re evil in His eyes. May this truth that God delights in us spur you on this week and forever.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
