Build me a son, O Lord,<\/p>\n
=======> it takes much effort to build something<\/p>\n
who will be strong enough to know when he is weak,<\/p>\n
=======> only once or twice did i faced it and bore the shame
\nand brave enough to face himself when he is afraid;<\/p>\n
=======> and tell myself to get out from the shelter (most the time i ask God to kick me out)…
\none who will be proud and unbending in honest defeat,<\/p>\n

\nand humble and gentle in victory.<\/p>\n
========> amen
\nLead him, I pray, not in the path of ease and comfort,
\nbut under the stress and spur of difficulties and challenge.<\/p>\n
========> how i cried out not this line for i hate stress and difficulties
\nHere let him learn to stand up in the storm;<\/p>\n
========> how am i stand up for i’m weak?<\/p>\n
here let him learn compassion for those who fail.<\/p>\n
========> O Lord grant me compassion as such
\nBuild me a son whose heart will be clear,<\/p>\n
========> as clear as crystal which others could see
\nwhose goal will be high,<\/p>\n
========> enough of those fear & worry, but cling to the “dream”
\na son who will master himself before he seeks to master other men,<\/p>\n
========> how often i fail
\none who will reach into the future,<\/p>\n
========> grant me the patience
\nyet never forget the past.<\/p>\n

\nAnd, after all these things are his,
\ngive him, I pray, enough of a sense of humor,
\nso that he may always be serious,
\nyet never take himself too seriously.<\/p>\n

\nGive him humility,<\/p>\n

\nso that he may always remember the simplicity of true greatness,<\/p>\n

\nthe open mind of true strength.<\/p>\n
