And he said to me, \u201cTo measure Jerusalem<\/strong>, to see what is its width and what is its length.\u201d<\/em><\/h4>\n

\u2018Jerusalem shall be inhabited\u00a0as villages without walls<\/em><\/strong>, <\/span><\/em>\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/h4>\n

And I will be to her\u00a0a wall of fire all around, <\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/em>Lord<\/span>, <\/span><\/em><\/strong>and I will be the glory in her midst.<\/span><\/em>\u2019<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/em>(Zec 2:1-5)<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/h4>\n

Often times, we don’t see God till the very end of everything.
\nOften we misunderstood God in the process with our limited knowledge and understanding.<\/p>\n

As the first words that came, “to measure Jerusalem”. Isn’t it odd for God to measure Jerusalem? Doesn’t God knows everything? And doesn’t God knows the measurement of His beloved city? Furthermore, it’s the measurement of a city. Should God measure to know the size? It just sounds absurd!!<\/p>\n

The second words that came, “Jerusalem shall be inhabited as village without walls”. Again, what a weird logic here. After measuring the size, and God declares that it should be like a village without walls. At first sight, it seems like a word of judgment \/ punishment. God is going to destroy Jerusalem’s wall!!<\/p>\n

The last words,”I will be to her a wall of fire”. Only then, after hearing all the words, we finally understand the meaning. The first and second words are important and must take place before the final words could happen. They are necessary.<\/p>\n

But often times we stop at the first or second words, left paralyzed, confused, or in fear. We were confused of God’s doing, or we left out in fear of what seemingly a tragedy, we simply could not understand why God allowed certain things to happen. Bad things in particular.<\/p>\n

Yet, only upon hearing the last and final words, we do understand the big picture, of God’s purpose & love. Everything will become clear and sensible.<\/p>\n

So, hang on there when life seems confusing \/ fearful. Don’t lose heart, for God has not finished with your life.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
