Our risen Lord Jesus be our Shepherd.
I’m extremely grateful for the long weekend and good beginning of the year. Got time to sit down and reflect and reminded of God’s goodness.
- The resurrection of Jesus from the death. What a powerful, earth shaking moment. That power and assurance despite all things against it. It gives peace and hope for a whole new year.
- The all knowing God in Psalm 139, who knows my heart and understand my thoughts. God who watches me when I’m sleeping or when I’m walking. There’s nothing more secure than this.
- The faith heroes in the Bible, who faced the giants and claimed the promises of God. Focus on God and not the difficulties or even impossibilities. Even Abraham made mistakes, and God never hold him guilty for those mistakes.
Hence, go forward in the power of God, secure in His love, and believe He will do great things for us.
