Lord over circumtances

This morning when i walked to the bus stop, suddenly a heavy rain poured down.

Then i remembered the song that goes like this :

He’s the Lord of the sunshine, the Lord of the rain
He’s the Lord of the mountain, the Lord of the sea
He’s the Lord of the good times, the Lord of the pain
The Lord of the children | The Lord of the old folk
The Lord of you and me =)

Beautiful song… And after been reading the book of Revelation (last book of the Bible)…and this morning read about how God worked in bringing disaster for Absalom by turning Ahitophel idea into foolishness.. That God is the Lord over everything. Man can plan in his heart, but the Lord that determines his steps.

So…hehhe…this morning while waiting for the bus…i enjoyed stood there under the rain, instead of running to the shelter like all the people….hehehe…of course with my umbrella on my rite hand…

But yah still….the rest of the people were watching me…they must think this guy is crazy…standing under rain…and singing some more… :D…Maybe…abit crazy after reading my Bible and things were connected like chain of lightning…hehehe…

But true, the song is indeed beautiful…because it puts the opposite things together…and God is the Lord of both things….both good times and pain, both the sunshine and the rain, both the mountain and the sea…and all sort of people. He’s the Lord over all circumtances.

And this is how Peter addresses Jesus the Nazareth :

“Therefore let all the house of Israel know for certain that God has made Him both Lord and Christ–this Jesus whom you crucified” ( Acts 2 : 36)
