Eating my own words

Yesterday when I reached home, I was shocked when i took off my socks. My left foot was so red, as if it’s bitten by something big. Before sleeping, i applied the cream on my foot. That’s when my daughter saw it and began our conversation.

Girl: “Papa, what happened? What bite you? Is it black ants? Is it red ants?

Papa: “No”

Girl: “I thought you’re strong”

That’s it. When she asked me questions about insect bites, “why insect bite her and bite my wife and not me”, i told her because i’m strong. She really believed it. And now she’s asking me how come i was bitten so badly if i was strong.

A lesson to speak truthfully, and not boasting of something which i’m not.
